Two Days Back is the first feature created as part of the Mont Alto Film Project, a two-year filmaking project offered under the auspices of the Penn State Mont Alto Campus. The Mont Alto Film Project is the brainchild of Dr. Kevin Alexander Boon, who directed the film and composed the soundtrack. Boon began the project in 2009 with "15 students and a waiting list." Nine of the original group made it through principal photography, with a couple additional volunteers joining in. Working together, Boon and the group concieved, wrote, planned, photographed, and edited Two Days Back, a full length independent film scheduled to premiere on November 18th and 19th at the Capital Theater in Chambersburg, PA.

Casting professional actors and funding the film with a budget that amounted to less than most Hollywood films spend on donuts, the Mont Alto Film Project created an original, full-length feature. The film involved over 100 people from The Penn State Mont Alto campus and surrounding communities.
